Why Goodrick Landscapes?
Catherine, the founder of Goodrick Landscapes is deeply passionate about helping people connect with their land by creating inviting, functional outdoor spaces that encourage people to spend more time outdoors. From transforming commercial spaces, to creating considered designs for new builds, Goodrick Landscapes can help you with your project, no matter the size.

Goodrick Landscapes guide clients through a thoughtful, collaborative design process that considers the unique context of each site. Including; the land itself, the people who live there, their aspirations, limitations and available resources. Every design is unique to you and integrates a blend of practices tailored to your sites natural conditions to unlock the lands full potential.

Our goal is to support you on your landscape journey by co-creating landscapes that are both regenerative and beautiful while also incorporating design, permaculture and ecological principles. We create outdoor living spaces that feel welcoming, purposeful, and are something you can truly be proud of.
About Us
Horticulture Training
Diploma in Landscape Design
After leaving school, I pursued formal training in horticulture, which led to a Diploma in Landscape Design and a Permaculture Design Certificate. These studies formed the foundation for my practical and ecological approach to landscaping. Early in my career, I had the opportunity to manage the English Flower Garden at Hamilton Gardens, gaining experience in high-quality garden presentation and maintenance. I also worked across orchards, vineyards, and other landscape settings, which further shaped my understanding of productive systems in real-world conditions.
The launch of Goodrick Landscapes
In 2017, I launched Goodrick Landscapes to bring together these influences with a focus on creating edible, resilient, and regenerative spaces.
Food Forest Training
Alongside design work, I’ve continued studying, completing training in organic primary production to deepen my knowledge around how to strengthen organic food systems, and exploring the regenerative potential of syntropic agroforestry as a way to grow food while improving soil, biodiversity, and landscape function.
